The Village Hall

Recently refurbished, the 50 year-old hall comprises a large room with sprung floor, a small committee room,kitchen and with access and toilet facilities for the disabled. It is used by several organisations and is also available for hire for fundraising events, concerts(max 150),parties and dances(max 100) at reasonable rates

Rocklands Primary School

This is a thriving small village school with a friendly family atmosphere and outstanding achievements. It has achieved good Ofsted report (2013) with outstanding features identified.

Friends of Rocklands School (FORS)

All parents at Rockland School are members of the FORS (formerly the PTA). FORS have regular fund raising events which provide the school with much needed extras to help with the education of the children.

The Frank Thomas Mann Rocklands Trust

This registered charity,administered by a group of trustees from the Rocklands community,was created by the amalgamation of The Thomas Mann Trust with the RocklandAll Saints and St Peter's Fuel Trusts.
The Trustees can distribute the income to support residents of Rocklands who might be in need, distress or suffering hardship. Any remaining funds may also be used to the general benefit of the inhabitants of Rocklands. It is the policy of the Trustees to make one-off payments according to the individual merits of each case, and not to enter into ongoing subscriptions to any particular cause.
The Trustees would like to remind people that there is money available to be distributed, should a suitable need arise. Applications are treated in confidence.

The Shellrock Circle

The Shellrock Circle is a senior citizen club for the over 50s of the villages of Rocklands, Great and Little Ellingham, Shropham and Snetterton. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at Rocklands Village Hall from 2pm to 4pm. Several subsidised coach outings are organised each year, and three luncheon clubs meet each month

The monthly magazine of news and views from the village,including a calender of events.

Norfolk County Council Mobile Library

New Beginnings

The Mobile Library visits Rocklands about every four weeks on a Friday.Route information on the Council website
The New Beginnings Group for women meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7.30. Meetings are held alternately at Gt Ellingham Recreation Centre and Rocklands Village Hall.

Oil Syndicate

The Rix Oil Community operates in the Village, supplying oil at a discount price and making a donation to the school anfd palying fields.
