The minutes of the Annual Assembly held on Monday 10 April 2006 were signed as a correct record

There were no matters arising

4. CHAIRMAN'S REPORT

Due to the Chairman being on holiday the report was carried over to the next meeting

5. REPORT BY COUNTY& DISTRICT COUNCILLORS & POLICE

Councillor Smithreported that the Local Development Framework was in the process of being produced. The original had been modelled on the Government format but after advice, it was being remodelled on the needs of Breckland.
The Rural Enterprise Valley which stretches from Thetford to Wymondham was likely to have serious impact on the area.
Council Tax increase has again remained at 2%. The partnership with Forest Heath District Council had obtained Beacon status.
A new C. E. O Trevor Houldon had been appointed to Breckland Council.

6. PARISH COUNCIL ANNUAL ACCOUNTS

The Clerk presented the Parish Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2007 (copy attached at "A") and stated to the best of his knowledge they were correct. He was unable to have them signed off as he had not received the final statement from the bank. They would be officially presented at the next meeting. There were no questions raised.

7. TO REVIEW REGISTER OF INTERESTS, FINANCIAL STANDING ORDERS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF R. F. O.

There were no variations in the Register of Interests, Financial Standing Orders, or the responsibilities of the R. F. O.
